I meet Ferran Gisbert this may, we were both invited at the Poliniza street art Festival in Valencia.
I was suddenly dazed by his technique, which were standing out from any other classic mural approaches I’ve seen before. He buildt up a 2 metros long paintbrush, that make his action unique cause consist in just one slow gesture that fill up the wall surface. it recalls calligraphy approach, but in bigger dimension. I was so fascinated that I propose him a collaboration: as I’m totally into organic and dynamic aesthetic, I suggested to draw a snake together, as it could combine both my love for shapes and texture with his unparalleled sign. HE would have done the body, I would have done head and tale. We just did a little sketch on paper to define the movement and we started, totally freestyle. The amazing thing was realizing how the scale of the snake skin were perfectly merging with the texture left by the brush pressure. It took us one hour and half to ultimate the wall, which is pretty incredible for me as I’m used to way longer timing. The wall surface cover 4 meters in high and 10 meters in lengths.
